Strategic Communications

Vivek is the founder of Gnothi Seauton, a strategic communications lab advising global enterprises and public institutions on trust, strategy, and transformation. He teaches Strategic Communications and Critical Thinking at MICA, and serves as National Chair for Learning and Thought Leadership at the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI).

Vivek is a communications strategist and systems thinker with more than two decades of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, global institutions, and public-interest organisations on strategy, trust, and transformation.

He is the founder of Gnothi Seauton, a strategic communications lab that partners with leaders navigating complexity—through narrative strategy, stakeholder alignment, and behaviour change design. The firm works across emerging and developed markets, particularly in domains where technology, sustainability, and inclusive innovation intersect. His clients include Amazon, GSK, Red Hat, MSDF, Siemens, Marriott, and Hitachi, among others.

Vivek has led communications strategy and multi-market engagements for organisations such as Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Oracle, Johnson & Johnson, UNICEF, and the World Bank, with a focus on high-stakes initiatives in public health, digital transformation, climate action, ESG, and crisis response.

He has deep expertise in designing programs that reshape reputation, align multi-stakeholder coalitions, and translate complexity into clarity. His advisory portfolio includes national policy communication, global branding, trust-building in frontier markets, and leadership visibility for C-suite executives across India, Asia-Pacific, and global headquarters.

In his industry leadership role, he currently serves as National Chair for Learning and Thought Leadership with the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI), where he contributes to shaping the future of the communications profession through knowledge-sharing, research, and capability building.

In parallel to his advisory work, Vivek teaches Strategic Communications, Critical Thinking, Consultative Writing, and Data Storytelling at MICA, one of India’s leading institutions for marketing and communication leadership. His pedagogy blends structured problem-solving with narrative influence—preparing the next generation of leaders to think critically, write persuasively, and communicate systemically.

He writes regularly for Forbes, The Economic Times, and other platforms on the role of storytelling in leadership, policy, and business transformation. His thinking draws on interdisciplinary training across public policy, law, public health systems, and aesthetics.

He holds advanced qualifications from institutions including the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Takshashila Institution, the National Law School of India University, and the University of Mumbai, among others.
