Prof. Saurabh Pandya

Saurabh Pandya has more than fifteen years of professional experience in the industry and academia. He has a doctorate in Corporate Strategy & Policy from IIM Bangalore (2008-2014) and an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai (2000-02).

After his MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, Saurabh worked in the industry for about five years with companies like Tata Motors, Go Airlines (India) and Unisource Worldwide, in diverse functions like finance, audit and analytics.Prior to joining MICA in 2022, Saurabh has worked for more than eight years as a faculty in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship areas with IIM Raipur, XLRI Jamshedpur and IIM Nagpur. He was Chairperson of the Executive MBA program at IIM Nagpur and also chaired the committee for revising the MBA curriculum and designing the Executive MBA curriculum in 2021.

At MICA, Saurabh co-teaches courses on Managing Organization Ecosystem, Governance, Change & Transformation, and Multi-Sectoral Analysis. In his previous institutes, he has taught courses on Strategic Management, Strategy Implementation, Balanced Scorecard, Strategic Leadership, Corporate Governance and Strategy Process Research, across various management programs. Since 2023, Prof Pandya also teaches courses on Strategy Implementation and Balanced Scorecard as a visiting faculty member in XLRI Jamshedpur and IRMA.

Saurabh has designed and executed various corporate training programs in Strategic Thinking and Implementation for Tata Steel and Adani Green Energy. He has been a part of various open and customized management development programs for companies like Canara Bank, Toyota Tsusho, Novo Nordisk, HPCL, and Western Coalfields.

Saurabh has to his credit a number of research publications and conference presentations. His work on leadership development and rapid growth organizations has been presented in international conferences and was also selected for the Best Paper Proceedings at the Academy of Management (AOM) conference in 2012 in Boston (US). He has also presented his research work at reputed international conferences in Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
