The best of marketing classes? Sure, we have got those. But the life between those classes really makes MICA, well, MICA.

Recreational Culture
MICA values and actively promotes activities that encourage relaxation, enjoyment, and personal enrichment beyond academic or work commitments. The campus offers ample opportunities to unwind—whether it is swinging on the swings or taking a stroll around the lush greenery, painting graffiti on the hostel walls or solving complex puzzles in the library.
And, of course, our sporting arena is a central part of campus life. It is not uncommon to see students playing table tennis or badminton until dawn. At MICA, life would not be complete without the energy, camaraderie, and excitement that sports, especially hostel competitions, bring.
Health & Wellness
Counselling services (Online & in-person): Be rest assured to feel heard. A safe space to discuss personal, academic, or emotional challenges.
Daily yoga classes: Specially designed to help students, faculty, and staff relieve stress, improve focus, and maintain a healthy balance between academic and personal life, the classes are offered free of cost to the MICA community.
The Heart Of Social Life: Chhota (24 Hour Canteen)
If the walls could talk, they will tell you how at Chhota – friendships are born over countless cups of chai, where last-minute assignments meet their destiny, and where some of the best ideas have been scribbled on paper napkins. Do not be surprised when you glance through the menu. Some of the legendary dishes here have been named by the seniors who helped create them.
MICafe (another space to hangout) joins in, too, becoming the much-needed retreat from classes, where conversations flow as freely as the coffee. It is in these after-hours that MICA comes alive and fosters a sense of community and creativity under the starry sky.
The Art Of Campus Life
The graffiti we have on MICA’s walls forms our heritage. Each graffiti tells a story, captures a moment, or makes you smile on a tough day. It is the legacy of our seniors, alums of many years ago, and now we are adding our colors to this ever-growing canvas. Even the wall at Chhota tells many stories as each year, students get a chance to leave their mark on the wall through paintings.
A Canvas Of Cultural Celebrations
The campus thrives during our fests and events. Starting from MICANVAS, the marketing fest where sleep is a luxury and the entire campus transforms into this crazy mix of competitions, performances, and pure adrenaline, to Oorja, the garba night of MICA, where the community comes together to dance on the beats of garba. A year in the life of a MICAn is filled with many such engaging events spanning musical nights, literature festivals, and the annual research conference ICMC.
Where Diversity Meets Expression
What makes MICA special is not just what you are reading on this site – it is also the people. Imagine simultaneously sitting at Chhota (our beloved campus café) and hearing four languages. There’s always that group debating about the latest ad campaigns, someone busy capturing those perfect pictures and creating cinematic masterpieces, or someone simply stressing around, asking about assignment deadlines. It is like this perfect ecosystem where everyone somehow fits in.
Learning Beyond The Classroom
MICA teaches you the power of an organic approach to learning. Be it our PGP program, CCC, or FPM, our faculty are our partners in the growth journey. MICA fosters an open-door policy that creates an environment where impromptu discussions flow. One will always find many students swamped around a professor, trying to crack a case competition. It is often said that at MICA, we hardly ever have ‘lectures’ – we have discussions instead.
Student-Led, Mica-Powered
The student-led committees here at MICA are what keeps MICA running. From organizing some of MICA’s favorite events, from Oorja (the Garba festival by the Cultural Committee) to Start Your Own Restaurant (the Entrepreneurship Fest by Entrepreneurship Development Cell), these committees give students real-world experience in leadership and management. Each committee is a micro-universe of learning, challenge, and achievement – mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive.
MICA is our perfect place. The deadlines are still deadlines, and group projects can still drive you crazy. Maybe it is how everyone finds their space here, how creativity is not just expected but encouraged, or simply how this place becomes home before you even realize it.
So, well, MICA is technically a business school. But ask any MICAn – it is a place where you discover yourself while accidentally learning how to crack marketing briefs. And somehow, that makes all the difference.
